Swatch Group Accounts Payable Officer

- Manage the processing of invoices and ensure timely payment to third-party suppliers and staff.
- Assist managers and department coordinators with documentation related to purchases.
- Prepare weekly payments, including EFT, BPAY, and foreign currency transactions.
- Handle monthly intercompany payments and maintain the Accounts Payable Ledger.
- Process manual journals for reclassification and month-end accrual entries.
- Enter invoice data into SAP and perform monthly vendor reconciliations.
- Ensure all payments are correctly authorized and coded.
- Reconcile retail cash floats promptly.
- Process urgent payment requests, including foreign currency transactions.
- Tertiary qualification in Accounting or a related field.
- Proven experience in Accounts Payable within a high-volume environment.
- Proficiency in EFT payment processing.
- Experience with staff expense payment and validation.
- Familiarity with accruals and reconciliations.
- Basic understanding of debits, credits, and General Ledger accounting codes.
- Proficiency in SAP and strong Excel skills.
Demonstrated experience in Accounts Payable, particularly in a high-volume setting, with expertise in EFT payments and staff expense validation.
Tertiary qualification in Accounting or a related discipline.
