Swatch Business Controller

The Swatch Group Netherlands is the sales organization for renowned Swiss watch brands such as Swatch, Omega, Longines, Tissot, Hamilton, Certina, Rado, and Balmain within the Netherlands. Operating from its headquarters in Eindhoven, the company supplies independent jewelers and large retail chains, and also manages its own growing number of retail outlets, including Swatch Stores, a Tissot boutique in Amsterdam, and an Hour Passion store in the Designer Outlet in Roermond.

1. Act as a sparring partner for the Commercial organization and contribute to the development and professionalization of the Finance team.
2. Take full PnL responsibility for B2B business activities.
3. Coordinate key processes such as month-end closing, budgeting, and sales forecasting.
4. Provide insights into gross and net margin developments.
5. Support and advise on the preparation of business cases for opening new sales outlets.
6. Report commercial and financial forecasts.
7. Contribute to the month-end closing in collaboration with other Finance colleagues.
8. Prepare cash flow analyses and projections and manage capex controlling.
9. Present operational and commercial results to the management (CEO & CFO).
10. Automate and optimize reporting processes.

1. Completed university education in a business economics field.
2. Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
3. Experience within a retail organization is a plus.

1. Ability to make financial analyses understandable for all stakeholders.
2. Team mentality with the ability to work independently.
3. Proactive and initiative-taking.
4. Ability to quickly adapt and prioritize tasks.
5. Proficiency in IT systems such as SAP, SAP BW, and Office 365 with advanced Excel skills.
6. Excellent knowledge of Dutch and good knowledge of English, both written and spoken.

Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in a retail organization.
