Sephora Talent and Business Operations Manager, Stores

- Manage all people and operations activities for a designated Sephora store, ensuring consistent execution of company standards.
- Own talent acquisition for the location: conduct final interviews for key positions, leverage the online applicant tracking system to source and hire top candidates, and oversee onboarding.
- Design and execute the store’s training strategy in partnership with the Store Director and Education team; manage ongoing education and development initiatives for beauty advisors.
- Deliver and administer performance management processes, including annual reviews for direct reports and coaching for performance improvement across the store.
- Lead day-to-day operational functions: inventory control (shipping, receiving, returns), cycle counts, loss prevention and timely completion of operational processes within company guidelines.
- Manage store scheduling, staffing/zoning and payroll-related decisions to optimise sales productivity and control store-level expenses.
- Act as a commercial driver by analysing sales performance and translating results into staffing and operational actions to maximise profitability and client experience.
- Two to four years’ experience in a comparable people-and-operations role within a high-volume retail environment, or equivalent internal retail leadership experience.
- Demonstrated aptitude for recruiting, developing and retaining high-performing store teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong organisational aptitude, attention to detail and the capacity to manage multiple operational priorities simultaneously.

Two to four years in a similar role at a comparable-volume retail store or equivalent progressive experience within the organisation.
Post-secondary education in Business, Human Resources, Retail Management or a related field preferred; equivalent practical experience will be considered.
