Sephora Store Director

- Forecast sales and payroll in collaboration with the District Manager to drive store results.
- Monitor and communicate sales results to staff on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Manage and assess the effectiveness of business strategies, adjusting plans as necessary.
- Achieve sales targets and operating profits while controlling expenses.
- Develop strategies to grow the business, leveraging customer loyalty programs, events, product knowledge, and services.
- Maintain optimal staffing levels to ensure exceptional client experiences while adhering to budgetary constraints.
- Recruit, interview, and hire for all store positions according to business needs.
- Train, coach, and motivate Assistant Managers and Supervisors to enhance their leadership and business acumen.
- Ensure a coaching culture with timely acknowledgment of successes and feedback on opportunities.
- Conduct inventories and maintain updated inventory records.
- Communicate inventory issues to the District Manager and key stakeholders.
- Make strategic merchandising decisions in alignment with Sephora’s concepts.
- 5 years of management experience in the retail or service industry.
- Previous experience in recruiting, staffing, and hiring for all store positions, including leadership roles.
- High School diploma or equivalent; College degree preferred.
- Open availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Effective time management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain composure and demonstrate managerial courage.
- Proficiency in analyzing sales trends and reacting appropriately.
- Proficiency in Windows, Word, and Excel.
5 years of management experience in the retail or service industry.
High School diploma or equivalent; College degree preferred.
