Sephora Store Director

1. Forecast sales and payroll in collaboration with the District Manager to drive store results.
2. Monitor and communicate daily, weekly, and monthly sales results to staff members.
3. Manage and assess the effectiveness of business strategies, adjusting plans as necessary.
4. Achieve sales plans and operating profits while maintaining expenses.
5. Develop strategies to grow the business, leveraging customer loyalty programs, events, product knowledge, and services.
6. Maintain optimal store staffing levels to deliver an exceptional client experience.
7. Recruit, interview, and hire for all store positions according to business needs.
8. Train, coach, delegate to, supervise, and motivate Assistant Managers and Supervisors.
9. Ensure a coaching culture with timely acknowledgment of successes and feedback on opportunities.
10. Conduct inventories and maintain updated inventory records.
11. Communicate inventory issues to the District Manager and key stakeholders.
12. Make strategic merchandising decisions in accordance with Sephora’s concepts.

1. 5 years of management experience in the retail/service industry.
2. Previous experience in recruiting, staffing, and hiring across all store positions.
3. High School graduate or equivalent; College degree preferred.
4. Open availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

1. Effective time management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
2. Ability to maintain composure and managerial courage.
3. Ability to analyze sales trends and react appropriately.
4. Proficiency in Windows, Word, and Excel.

5 years of management experience in the retail/service industry.

High School graduate or equivalent; College degree preferred.
