Sephora Store Director

- Forecast sales and payroll in collaboration with the District Manager to drive store performance.
- Monitor and communicate daily, weekly, and monthly sales results to the team.
- Manage and evaluate the effectiveness of business strategies, adjusting plans as necessary.
- Achieve sales targets and operating profits while controlling expenses.
- Develop strategies to grow the business, utilizing customer loyalty programs, events, and product knowledge.
- Maintain optimal staffing levels to ensure exceptional client experiences.
- Recruit, interview, and hire for all store positions based on business needs.
- Train, coach, and motivate Assistant Managers and Supervisors to enhance their leadership and business skills.
- Ensure a culture of coaching with timely recognition of successes and constructive feedback.
- Conduct timely inventories and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Communicate inventory issues to the District Manager and key stakeholders.
- Make strategic merchandising decisions in line with Sephora’s concepts to drive business growth.
- 5 years of management experience in the retail or service industry.
- Experience in recruiting, staffing, and hiring for all store positions, including leadership roles.
- Proficiency in Windows, Word, and Excel.
- High School diploma or equivalent; a College degree is preferred.
- Open availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Effective time management and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to maintain composure and demonstrate managerial courage.
- Analytical skills to assess sales trends and respond appropriately.
A minimum of 5 years in a management role within the retail or service industry, with a focus on recruiting and staffing.
High School diploma or equivalent; a College degree is preferred.
