Sephora Store Director

1. Forecast sales and payroll in collaboration with the District Manager to drive store results.
2. Monitor and communicate daily, weekly, and monthly sales results to staff.
3. Manage and evaluate the effectiveness of business strategies, adjusting plans as necessary.
4. Achieve sales plans and operating profits while controlling expenses.
5. Develop strategies to grow business, leveraging customer loyalty programs, events, and product knowledge.
6. Maintain optimal staffing levels to deliver exceptional client experiences within budgetary constraints.
7. Recruit, interview, and hire for all store positions based on business needs.
8. Train, coach, and motivate Assistant Managers and Supervisors to develop leadership and business skills.
9. Ensure a coaching culture with timely acknowledgment of successes and feedback on opportunities.
10. Conduct timely inventories and maintain updated inventory records.
11. Communicate inventory issues to the District Manager and key stakeholders.
12. Make strategic merchandising decisions in line with Sephora’s concepts to grow the business.

1. 5 years of management experience in the retail or service industry.
2. Experience in recruiting, staffing, and hiring across all store positions, including leadership roles.
3. High School diploma or equivalent; a College degree is preferred.
4. Open availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

1. Effective time management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
2. Ability to maintain composure and demonstrate managerial courage.
3. Proficiency in analyzing sales trends and reacting appropriately.
4. Proficiency in Windows, Word, and Excel.

A minimum of 5 years in a management role within the retail or service industry is required.

High School diploma or equivalent is required; a College degree is preferred.
