Sephora Store Director

- Forecast sales and payroll in collaboration with the District Manager to drive store results.
- Monitor and communicate daily, weekly, and monthly sales results to staff.
- Manage and assess the effectiveness of business strategies, adjusting plans as necessary.
- Achieve sales plans and operating profits while maintaining expenses.
- Develop strategies to grow the business, leveraging customer loyalty programs, events, and services.
- Maintain optimal staffing levels to deliver exceptional client experiences.
- Recruit, interview, and hire for all store positions as per business needs.
- Train, coach, and motivate Assistant Managers and Supervisors to enhance their leadership skills.
- Ensure a coaching culture with timely feedback and recognition of successes.
- Conduct timely inventories and maintain updated inventory records.
- Communicate inventory issues to the District Manager and key stakeholders.
- Make strategic merchandising decisions to align with Sephora’s concepts.
- 5 years of management experience in the retail or service industry.
- Experience in recruiting, staffing, and hiring across all store positions.
- Effective time management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain composure and demonstrate managerial courage.
- Proficiency in analyzing sales trends and reacting appropriately.
- Proficiency in Windows, Word, and Excel.
- Strong leadership and motivational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
A minimum of 5 years of management experience in the retail or service industry is required.
High School diploma or equivalent required; College degree preferred.
