Sephora Store Director

1. Forecast sales and payroll in collaboration with the District Manager to drive store results.
2. Monitor and communicate daily, weekly, and monthly sales results to staff.
3. Manage and measure the effectiveness of business strategies, adjusting plans as necessary.
4. Achieve store sales plans and operating profits while maintaining expenses.
5. Develop strategies to grow business, leveraging customer loyalty programs, events, product knowledge, and services.
6. Maintain optimum store staffing levels to deliver exceptional client experiences while adhering to budgetary goals.
7. Recruit, interview, and hire for all positions according to business needs.
8. Train, coach, and motivate Assistant Managers and Supervisors to develop their leadership and business skills.
9. Ensure a coaching culture with timely acknowledgment of successes and feedback on opportunities.
10. Conduct inventories and maintain updated inventory records, communicating issues to the District Manager.
11. Make strategic merchandising decisions in accordance with Sephora’s concepts to grow the business.

1. 5 years of management experience in the retail/service industry.
2. Previous experience in recruiting, staffing, and hiring across all store positions, including leadership roles.
3. High School diploma or equivalent; a College degree is preferred.
4. Open availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

1. Effective time management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
2. Ability to maintain composure and managerial courage.
3. Proficiency in analyzing sales trends and reacting appropriately.
4. Proficiency in Windows, Word, and Excel.

5 years of management experience in the retail/service industry, with a focus on recruiting and staffing.

High School diploma or equivalent; a College degree is preferred.
