Sephora Store Director

1. Forecast sales and payroll in collaboration with the District Manager to drive store results.
2. Monitor and communicate daily, weekly, and monthly sales results to staff.
3. Manage and evaluate the effectiveness of business strategies, adjusting plans as necessary.
4. Achieve sales plans and operating profits while maintaining expenses.
5. Develop strategies to grow the business, leveraging customer loyalty programs, events, and product knowledge.
6. Maintain optimal store staffing levels to deliver exceptional client experiences.
7. Recruit, interview, and hire for all store positions according to business needs.
8. Train, coach, and motivate Assistant Managers and Supervisors to develop leadership and business skills.
9. Ensure a coaching culture with timely acknowledgment of successes and feedback on opportunities.
10. Conduct timely inventories and maintain updated inventory records.
11. Communicate inventory issues to the District Manager and key stakeholders.
12. Make strategic merchandising decisions in accordance with Sephora’s concepts.

1. 5 years of management experience in the retail/service industry.
2. Experience in recruiting, staffing, and hiring across all store positions, including leadership roles.

1. Effective time management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
2. Ability to maintain composure and demonstrate managerial courage.
3. Proficiency in analyzing sales trends and reacting appropriately.
4. Proficiency in Windows, Word, and Excel.

5 years of management experience in the retail/service industry, with a focus on recruiting and staffing.

High School diploma or equivalent required; College degree preferred.
