Sephora Software Engineer

- Analyze complex data processing problems to develop and implement solutions for applications, system administration, and network issues.
- Own and evolve software development and microservices.
- Design, build, and maintain reusable and reliable code.
- Perform bug fixes and performance improvements.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to understand requirements and evaluate new features.
- Update software or enhance existing capabilities.
- Deliver systems that provide insights into operational metrics and help resolve issues.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems or a related field and 5 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree in the same fields with 2 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, HTML/CSS.
- Experience with Kafka, IntelliJ, VS Code, Splunk, Grafana.
- Knowledge of SQL, MySQL, GraphQL, MongoDB, Spring, Redis.
- Experience in designing data ingestion pipelines.
- Expertise in architecting, optimizing, and scaling large services built in Scala.
A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Computer Systems Engineer, Software Engineer, or in a related position is required. Alternatively, 2 years of experience with a Master's degree in a related field.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems or a related field.
$174,650 to $175,000 per year for 40 hours per week.
