Sephora Senior Payroll Manager

- Oversee the strategic execution of end-to-end payroll operations across the United States and Canada.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll for salaried and hourly employees, adhering to federal and regional regulations.
- Lead a team of Payroll Operations Leads, Analysts, and Specialists, managing task assignments and fostering a collaborative environment.
- Serve as the payroll subject matter expert, liaising with internal stakeholders, auditors, and payroll providers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on new business activities and regional initiatives to address payroll needs.
- Stay informed on regulatory changes, benefit updates, and labor laws affecting payroll operations.
- Lead the preparation of year-end reporting and handle amendments as required.
- Design and implement payroll strategy and operating model for an expanding operation.
- Develop and maintain internal control policies and procedures for payroll processes.
- Evaluate payroll systems and identify opportunities for optimization and process improvements.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or Payroll Leadership Professional (PLP) preferred.
- 8-10 years of experience in payroll management and team leadership.
- Hands-on experience with Payroll, Time and Attendance, and HR Information Systems.
- Experience with Dayforce application is advantageous.
- 2 years of experience in a Case Management/Contact Center environment.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
- Proficient in problem-solving and implementing effective solutions.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills, including change management.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
8-10 years of experience in payroll management and leading payroll teams, with a proven track record of scaling payroll functions and transforming operations for efficiency.
Bachelor's degree in a related field.
The annual base salary range for this position is $151,810.00 - $169,670.00, with potential eligibility for bonuses.
