Sephora Senior Manager, Store Design

- Lead store design innovation ensuring a high-quality retail experience that balances aesthetics, functionality, and operational requirements.
- Collaborate with store design teams and cross-functional partners to address unique site conditions while maintaining a visionary approach to design.
- Provide leadership and development to a team of talented Store Designers, handling some project loads as necessary.
- Support the Director with strategic projects and cover in their absence.
- Maintain strong relationships with company leaders and possess excellent presentation skills.
- Ensure quality control with the team and third-party architect companies to meet Sephora design standards.
- Coordinate with consultant architects and engineers to incorporate changes into final contract documents.
- Coordinate closely with Real Estate, Retail Operations, Merchandising, and Property Development throughout all stages of store design.
- Challenge and develop processes to streamline projects and gain efficiencies.
- Lead design implementation, CD development, schedules, permitting, and interaction with building officials.
- Communicate Sephora brand point of view to external partners.
- Contribute industry insights to improve the delivery of on-brand, functional, and cost-effective stores.
- Manage high-profile and complex projects, including special projects like time studies and template standards.
- Lead initiatives with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- 7+ years of experience in Retail Architecture, Retail Design, or a similar field.
- 8-10 years of experience leading and managing high-performing teams.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Suite (In-Design, Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Experience with computer visualization tools such as SketchUp, Adobe, Rhino, or 3DS MAX.
- Strong leadership and team development skills.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
A minimum of 7 years in Retail Architecture or Retail Design, with 8-10 years in a leadership role managing high-performing teams.
The annual base salary range is $151,810.00 - $169,670.00, with eligibility for bonuses.
