Senior General Ledger Accountant

1. Support the Finance Controlling Manager in overseeing end-to-end accounting functions, including maintenance of the General Ledger and Balance Sheet.
2. Prepare month-end accruals and process monthly journals, including analysis.
3. Support the preparation, review, and delivery of year-end financial statements, meeting statutory reporting obligations.
4. Liaise with external auditors and suppliers, providing necessary information.
5. Review and validate the accuracy of financial reports for both pre and post submission.
6. Support the preparation of monthly P&L, working capital, and cash-flow forecasts.
7. Assist in the computation of corporate taxes and filing of respective tax returns.
8. Manage and assist external audit teams to ensure efficient and timely audits.
9. Support the Finance Team with Budget Preparation & Reporting.

1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA/CA preferred.

1. Fluent in English.
2. Proficient in Excel.
3. Experience with large ERP systems such as SAP.
4. Highly analytical with strong problem-solving skills.
5. Good communication skills and ability to build effective relationships.

At least 3 years’ experience in accounting roles, preferably gained in the Big 4 or with FMCG or retail clients.
