Sephora Senior eCommerce Engineer

- Design and develop large-scale enterprise solutions for a leading eCommerce platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive key design decisions and ensure robust application development.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and evaluate new technologies for application suitability.
- Ensure platform components are designed for reliability and scalability.
- Participate in load and performance testing, providing feedback and implementing improvements.
- Define and implement logging, monitoring, and alerting frameworks for critical metrics.
- Mentor team engineers in best practices for microservices implementation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the eCommerce application stack.
- Influence decisions and build consensus within the team.
- Uphold Sephora's values and ethical standards.
- 6+ years of experience in Java/J2EE, Spring, and Spring Boot frameworks.
- Proven experience in designing and managing Java microservices and RESTful APIs.
- Experience with cloud-based applications, preferably on MS Azure.
- Hands-on experience with native iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI.
- Proficiency in Java/J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, and JBoss.
- Experience with Java microservices and RESTful APIs.
- Knowledge of Swift, SwiftUI, and Xcode.
- Familiarity with JavaScript, NodeJS, React, and Redux.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Istio, and container orchestration.
- Proficiency in MS SQL, MySQL, NoSQL, Postgres, and Redis.
- Experience with GitHub, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
A minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in developing and delivering enterprise solutions using Java and related technologies.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
The annual base salary range is $132,210.00 - $163,200.00, with potential eligibility for bonuses.
