Sephora Planning Manager

- Coach and develop a team as an inspiring People Leader.
- Collaborate with the Director, Merchants, and vendors to create pre-season Brand Budget Plans.
- Develop brand strategies, projected sales plans, SKU-level inventory needs, and order-flow setups for new launches.
- Manage the monthly in-season Open-to-Buy (OTB) forecast to align sales and inventory with budgeted goals.
- Oversee store-level forecasts and orders across Canada to achieve financial targets.
- Communicate weekly updates on actions taken to address top-volume out-of-stocks.
- Lead newness and launch forecasts and buys, supporting merchandising and promotional strategies.
- Analyze assortment productivity and provide recommendations on presentation, discontinuations, and new item development.
- Develop liquidation strategies for exit brands and collections not eligible for RTV.
- Drive allocation strategies for inventory and merchandising goals for newness, animations, and promotional events.
- Collaborate with the Distribution Analyst to determine total store inventory needs.
- Maintain consistent communication with vendors regarding sales performance and issue resolution.
- Provide vendors with monthly forward-looking forecasts to support target fill rates.
- Report weekly on business trends and stock continuity.
- Conduct seasonal hindsight analyses on newness and key initiatives.
- Support additional projects as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in business, retail management, or a related field; MBA is a strong asset.
- 5+ years of experience in retail planning and/or buying.
- Curious, proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Passion for problem-solving and strong analytical skills.
- Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to influence and connect with others.
- Strong technical savviness and advanced Excel expertise.
A minimum of 5 years in retail planning and/or buying.
Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in business, retail management, or a related field.
Compensation ranges between CAD$101,100.00 - CAD$113,000.00, plus bonus, RRSP matching.
