Sephora Payroll Specialist

- Execute on- and off-cycle payroll processing activities for multi-state U.S. payrolls, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Conduct audits on data and system maintenance, including new hire setup, tax forms processing, timekeeping input, and garnishments.
- Provide client support across all organizational areas, including payroll processing and issue trend analysis.
- Monitor payroll-related operational trends and recommend process improvements.
- Support year-end tasks and client requests, including data issue resolution and W-2 generation.
- Maintain internal control policies and compliance with payroll processes.
- Serve as a liaison for the payroll accounting team on cross-functional tasks.
- Handle garnishment processing and maintain confidentiality of employee records.
- Demonstrate Sephora's core values in all interactions and duties.
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience in a multi-state environment.
- Knowledge of wage and hour laws and payroll-related taxation.
- Experience with Ceridian Dayforce or similar applications preferred.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in Excel.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Interpersonal and client service skills.
- Organizational and planning skills with the ability to meet demanding deadlines.
Minimum of 3 years in payroll processing, with expertise in multi-state payroll environments.
The target hourly pay for this position ranges from $36.00 to $43.00, dependent on qualifications and experience. Eligibility for bonuses is also available.
