Sephora Payroll Operations Lead

- Oversee the end-to-end payroll cycle for Canadian employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Review and validate payroll inputs in collaboration with the Senior Payroll Analyst.
- Conduct comprehensive audits and reconcile payroll and timekeeping records.
- Resolve complex employee payroll issues.
- Support year-end processing, including T4s and statutory filings such as Workers' Compensation and Employer Health Tax.
- Ensure compliance with federal and provincial laws, staying updated on regulatory changes.
- Develop and refine payroll validation rules, audit controls, and reconciliation processes.
- Identify and implement improvements in payroll systems and processes for efficiency.
- Partner with HRIS Business Partner to optimize payroll tools and systems.
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, and Accounting to streamline workflows and enhance alignment.
- Manage communication with third-party vendors for seamless service delivery.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in payroll operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- PCP certification strongly preferred.
- Extensive experience with Dayforce application is a plus.
- In-depth knowledge of payroll taxes, calculations, and regulatory requirements.
- Proven ability to scale and transform payroll operations for efficiency.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in change management.
- Ability to deliver results through influence and cross-functional collaboration.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in payroll operations, with direct experience in Payroll, Time and Attendance, and Human Resources Information Systems.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
