- Collect and cleanse data from diverse sources, ensuring precision and completeness, including omnichannel transaction and payment data, chargebacks, and fraud data.
- Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to detect payment performance issues or fraudulent activities, utilizing statistical methods and machine learning algorithms.
- Collaborate with Sephora's Data departments to enhance fraud detection capabilities.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to payment and fraud activities, providing regular reports to senior management.
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards using tools like Power BI.
- Create algorithms and data frameworks to improve real-time alerts for incidents and fraud.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to refine the fraud prevention model.
- Provide troubleshooting support for fraud prevention and payment performance issues.
- Ensure reports are tailored to the needs of various stakeholders, including senior management, finance, and operations teams.
- Conduct ad-hoc analyses to support investigations or strategic initiatives, offering actionable insights.
- Continuously improve dashboard functionality and design based on user feedback and evolving business needs.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal security policies, including GDPR.
- Stay informed about new fraud trends and payment technologies in the European market.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field such as data analysis or finance.
- Proven experience in data analysis, preferably within the payments or fraud prevention industry.
- Fluency in English and potentially other European languages.
- Knowledge of European payment regulations and fraud trends.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Power BI, GCP, Lookerstudio, R, and Python.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a highly complex work environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
