Sephora Packaging Development Project Manager

- Evaluate the technical feasibility of new packaging briefs and collaborate with Marketing, Creative, and Formula Development teams to propose eco-friendly and financially viable packaging solutions.
 - Work closely with the Procurement department to meet Marketing briefs while adhering to cost and gross margin objectives.
 - Oversee the technical development and industrialization of packaging, establishing technical development timelines including the graphic chain.
 - Manage the design and validation of technical plans, and update technical specifications for components and finished products in collaboration with suppliers and subcontractors.
 - Lead and participate in Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and validate homologation plans with the Quality team to ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
 - Organize and lead industrial trials and pre-series, documenting trial outcomes.
 - Analyze project risks with the project team, propose backup solutions, and implement associated action plans.
 - Communicate effectively and disseminate information across relevant departments (Quality, Procurement, Project Management, Supply Chain, Marketing, Suppliers, Subcontractors) and escalate alerts to management when necessary.
 - Coordinate and unite stakeholders (Quality, Procurement, Project Management, Supply Chain, Marketing, Suppliers, Subcontractors) around project goals.
 - Monitor and adhere to project budgets.
 - Conduct technological watch (products, processes, materials) to propose innovative and eco-designed solutions.
 - Engage in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives.
 - Optimize existing components and finished products to enhance quality, durability, and cost-effectiveness.
 - Propose solutions to optimize internal processes within the service and Sephora Collection.
 - Participate in cross-functional group work on topics such as internal flow improvements and product design documentation.
 
- Experience in technical packaging development and product industrialization, ideally within the fragrance and cosmetics sector, ranging from 3 to 5 years.
 
- Ability to work in a rapidly evolving project environment.
 - Entrepreneurial mindset.
 - Problem-solving skills with the ability to identify pragmatic technical solutions.
 - Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of effectively presenting technical justifications, risks, issues, and recommendations.
 - Willingness to travel several times a month.
 - Proficiency in English.
 
Minimum 3 years of experience in technical packaging roles, preferably in the beauty industry.
Degree from a specialized packaging development school (e.g., ESI-Reims, ESEPAC, ISIP) or an engineering school, with a strong interest in the sector.
