Sephora Operations Supervisor

- Oversee daily operations within the Distribution Center, focusing on productivity, quality, safety, and housekeeping.
- Spend approximately 75% of time on the operational floor, engaging with associates, providing coaching, and performance feedback.
- Supervise a team of skilled employees, including Workflow Coordinators and Associates, and manage relationships with the onsite staffing agency.
- Administer policies and guidelines, addressing performance and behavioral concerns consistently.
- Create and support engagement strategies by observing and coaching employees, providing timely feedback and action plans.
- Set and communicate clear productivity expectations for team members.
- Conduct annual performance evaluations for each associate.
- Identify and prioritize tasks to meet daily business goals and ensure smooth shift transitions.
- Ensure a safe work environment by implementing safety strategies and holding team members accountable.
- Improve efficiency, quality, and service by identifying process improvements and collaborating with leadership.
- Assign work, meet completion dates, and ensure consistent application of organizational policies.
- Resolve complex problems and present solutions to senior leaders.
- Build trust with business partners by explaining business processes and decision-making approaches.
- Communicate and present information to support and operational departments.
- College degree in a logistics-related field or three to five years of relevant work experience.
- Previous experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), preferably JDA.
- Working knowledge of MS Office applications: Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Strong interpersonal and human relation skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks confidently.
- Leadership and development skills for self and others.
- Proficiency in computer applications for analysis and problem-solving.
- Problem-solving and solution-creation abilities.
- Enthusiastic and professional demeanor.
- Motivational skills to promote collaboration and accountability.
Three to five years of relevant work experience in logistics or distribution center operations.
College degree in a logistics-related field.
