1. Achieve financial and strategic goals for assigned category and brands, including sales, productivity, and gross margin.
2. Implement department objectives, brand and client strategies, and visual presentations.
3. Develop and execute strategies for brand growth, including new product introductions and strategic expansion of current brands.
4. Establish and manage brand relationships, including terms negotiations.
5. Develop and manage assortments, plan launches, and animations for brands within the category strategy.
6. Analyze category and brand elements to identify opportunities.
7. Source and develop new brands to fill important need gaps within the category.
8. Communicate brand and business opportunities to stores and lead fixture/planogram planning and implementation.
9. Develop, mentor, and train team and direct reports.

1. Minimum 5+ years of retail merchant/buyer level experience.
2. Demonstrated ability to develop category/brand strategies.
3. Experience with managing and developing direct reports.

2. Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
3. Strong verbal and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
4. Ability to collaborate and lead cross-functionally.
5. Strong proficiency with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
6. Ability to travel.

A minimum of 5 years of experience in a retail merchant or buyer role, with a proven track record in developing category and brand strategies.

The annual base salary range for this position is $114,750.00 - $126,000.00, with potential eligibility for bonuses.
