- Achieve financial and strategic goals for the assigned fragrance category and brands, including sales, productivity, and gross margin.
- Implement department objectives, brand strategies, and visual presentations within assigned brands.
- Develop and execute strategies for brand growth with new product introductions and strategic expansion.
- Establish and manage brand relationships, including terms negotiations and support agreements.
- Analyze category and brand performance to identify opportunities for growth.
- Source and develop new brands to fill category gaps.
- Communicate brand and business opportunities to stores and lead fixture/planogram planning.
- Develop, mentor, and train team members and direct reports.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in retail merchandising or buying.
- Proven ability to develop category and brand strategies.
- Experience in managing and developing direct reports.
- High-level problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to collaborate and lead cross-functionally.
5+ years of experience in retail merchandising or buying, with a focus on fragrance or similar product categories.
The annual base salary range for this position is $114,000.00 - $127,000.00, with potential bonuses based on performance and other factors.
