- Manage brand planning for pre-season and in-season timeframes to ensure stock targets are met.
- Collaborate with Inventory Directors, Merchants, and Vendors to create pre-season budget plans.
- Develop new brand strategies including projected sales, SKU-level inventory needs, and order flow setups.
- Own monthly Open to Buy (OTB) projections and reconcile sales and receipts with demand planning forecasts.
- Align forecasts and strategies with the Demand Planning team.
- Guide Planning Assistants in prioritizing orders and escalating delays in key launches.
- Analyze sales and inventory needs for key initiatives, animations, and promotions.
- Develop liquidation strategies for exit brands, collections, and overstock management.
- Maintain consistent communication with vendors regarding sales performance and stock levels.
- Assess assortment presentation effectiveness and recommend discontinuations and new developments.
- 5+ years of planning experience in a relevant field.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and Word.
- Ability to interpret and synthesize data into business decisions.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and task management skills.
- Clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in planning, preferably within the beauty or retail industry.
The annual base salary range for this position is $99,790.00 - $111,530.00, with potential eligibility for bonuses.
