1. Manage brand planning for both pre-season and in-season timeframes to ensure in-stock targets are met.
2. Develop new brand strategies, projected sales, inventory by SKU needs, and order flow setups for launch timeframes.
3. Own accurate monthly in-season Open to Buy (OTB) sales, gross margin percentage, receipt, and inventory adjustment projections.
4. Reconcile OTB sales and receipt projections to replenishment/demand planning system forecasts.
5. Present at monthly cross-functional OTB meetings.
6. Partner with demand planning on forecast alignment and strategy.
7. Create pre-season brand budget plans in partnership with inventory directors, merchants, and vendors.
8. Guide merchandise planning assistants to prioritize newness/important orders and communicate delays in key launches.
9. Analyze and validate sales and inventory needs for key initiatives, animations, and promotions.
10. Develop liquidation strategy on exit brands/collections or overstock.
11. Communicate consistently with vendors on sales performance, in-stocks, and outstanding issues.
12. Validate productive assortment by analyzing and recommending presentation, items to discontinue, and items to develop.

1. 2-5 years of planning experience

1. Excellent technical skills in MS Office, specifically Excel and Word
2. Ability to interpret and synthesize data into intelligent business decisions
3. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and task management skills
4. Clear and concise written, verbal, and presentation skills
5. Good negotiation skills

The annual base salary range for this position is $97,155.00 - $108,585.00. Individuals employed in this position may also be eligible to earn bonuses.
