1. Independently lead monthly payroll analyses and monitor weekly trends in the Canadian market to identify opportunities and risks.
2. Design and maintain dynamic business models to evaluate potential business opportunities and strategic priorities through collaboration with key stakeholders.
3. Prepare and upload monthly workforce planning data into the payroll system, ensuring accuracy through rigorous validation processes.
4. Maintain data integrity and resolve complex data gaps and quality issues.
5. Represent the team in key finance meetings, addressing in-depth questions regarding payroll close and forecast reviews.
6. Prepare data and trend analysis for weekly and monthly reporting, including financial and operational content, and share insights cross-functionally.
7. Build strong partnerships across departments to understand data dependencies and ensure insights align with broader business processes.
8. Support the Senior Manager in translating complex business insights into understandable language for non-financial audiences.
9. Transform raw data into actionable insights to support objective data-driven decision-making.
10. Develop and implement improved business processes and tools.
11. Conduct ad hoc analysis to support larger cross-functional strategic priorities.

1. 5+ years of related FP&A or financial reporting experience, preferably in the Retail or CPG industry.
2. Bachelor’s degree in finance or business is highly preferred.

1. Advanced expertise in Excel and Financial Systems; SQL and Tableau skills are an asset.
2. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
3. High level of attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
4. Excellent time management skills to ensure timely completion of business-critical tasks.
5. Demonstrated success in critical thinking and decision-making.
6. Proactive, highly motivated, innovative, and analytical mindset.

5+ years of related FP&A or financial reporting experience, preferably in the Retail or CPG industry.

Bachelor’s degree in finance or business is highly preferred.
