Sephora Maintenance Technician III

- Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair on motorized material handling equipment (MHE), conveyors, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Inspect, monitor and maintain building systems and grounds, including HVAC, electrical systems and structural elements.
- Execute complex mechanical and electrical repairs and upgrades to warehouse equipment and facility infrastructure under direction of the Maintenance/Facilities Manager.
- Use test and metering equipment to diagnose faults; read and apply schematics and mechanical drawings to complete repairs and adjustments.
- Document maintenance activities, complete required OSHA/state-mandated trainings, and collaborate with service providers, inspectors and property asset managers.
- Support flexible shift schedules and perform required overtime; operate lifts and other shop equipment safely when working at heights.
- Demonstrated experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) — uploading/downloading PLCs and PLC logic principles.
- Proven mechanical and electrical maintenance experience on MHE, conveyors, HVAC and related warehouse systems.
- Familiarity with System Control Software (SCSs), scanners, photo sensors, remote Input/Output modules (I/Os), servo drives and variable frequency drives.
- Experience enforcing and working within Lock-out/Tag-out, fall protection and other OSHA safety regulations.
- Welding and fabrication experience preferred; CFM, electrical, HVAC and lift truck certifications/licenses preferred.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs, work at heights (up to ~32 feet) and perform physical tasks for the duration of a scheduled shift.

The ATS lists a minimum of 10 years' experience; the job description also states alternative paths (Associate's degree in Industrial or Maintenance Technology plus 2 years of maintenance experience, or at least 4 years of maintenance experience without the degree). Experience must include automated process control or MHE maintenance and extensive mechanical/electrical troubleshooting and repair.
Associate's degree in Industrial or Maintenance Technology preferred; equivalent technical certification or vocational training in maintenance/automation is acceptable.
