Sephora Machine Learning Engineer Intern

1. Participate in the design, development, and deployment of advanced machine learning models and algorithms to address complex business challenges.
2. Apply expertise in Generative AI to develop and refine models, contribute to synthetic data generation, and engineer GenAI agents using both commercial and open-source LLMs.
3. Collaborate with domain experts, software engineers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into actionable AI solutions.
4. Conduct exploratory data analysis, data preprocessing, and feature engineering to ensure high-quality input for modeling.
5. Stay informed about the latest advancements in AI research, experimenting with emerging techniques.
6. Communicate findings, insights, and technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences through clear visualizations and presentations.
7. Contribute to the development and maintenance of a robust machine learning infrastructure and best practices within the organization.

1. Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
2. Experience in data science, machine learning, generative AI, and agentic AI systems.

1. Proficiency in writing and testing Python object-oriented code with experience in machine learning libraries and frameworks.
2. Strong understanding of deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch.
3. Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
4. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
5. Exposure to cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and distributed computing is a plus.
6. Knowledge of SQL and unstructured data processing is a plus.

Experience in data science, machine learning, and AI systems, with a focus on generative AI and agentic AI systems.

Pursuing or completed a degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.

The target hourly pay for this position is $25.00 per hour, with the actual pay depending on various factors including qualifications, experience, and location.
