Sephora Machine Learning Engineer Intern

1. Develop and implement machine learning models for business applications such as product recommendation engines and personalized marketing.
2. Preprocess, clean, and engineer features from large datasets to enhance model performance.
3. Collaborate with engineers and data scientists to deploy machine learning models into production environments and monitor their performance.
4. Conduct research and stay updated with the latest machine learning techniques and tools to propose innovative solutions.
5. Document the development process, model architecture, and results for clear communication and knowledge sharing within the team.

1. Graduating in 2026 or 2027 with an undergraduate or graduate degree.
2. Must permanently reside and work in the U.S.
3. Open to relocating to the San Francisco Bay Area upon graduation for full-time hybrid positions.

1. Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
2. Proficiency in Python and its data science libraries, including NumPy and Pandas.
3. Understanding of machine learning concepts, including model training, evaluation, optimization, and deployment.
4. Hands-on experience with data preprocessing techniques and feature engineering.
5. Familiarity with Azure, Databricks, and MLOps principles is a plus.
6. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Experience with machine learning frameworks and data science libraries is required.

Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree, graduating in 2026 or 2027.

The target hourly pay for this position is $25.00 per hour. Actual pay depends on qualifications, experience, and geographic location.
