Sephora Loss Prevention Specialist

- Provide friendly, professional, and competent customer service as needed.
- Conduct surveillance on the sales floor and through CCTV to identify, observe, and deter potential external theft.
- Adhere to all Sephora policies and legal requirements regarding arrest, search, seizure, and evidence preservation.
- Prepare reports on theft incidents, merchandise recoveries, investigations, and accident audits.
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with internal partners, local law enforcement, mall security, and other retailers.
- Testify in court on behalf of the company in criminal or civil matters.
- Offer training and ongoing education to new and existing employees on in-store loss prevention awareness.
- Perform self-audits, checklists, and safety inspections in stores, and communicate findings to store management and the district loss prevention manager.
- Assist store management in preparing and processing inventory.
- Collaborate with stores and the DLPM in developing and executing shrink prevention plans.
- 1 year of experience in asset protection/loss prevention in a retail environment.
- Meet and maintain all licensing requirements as per provincial or local jurisdiction.
- Strong written, verbal, interviewing, listening, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm and provide effective coaching on loss prevention techniques.
- Proficiency in Windows, Word, and Excel.

At least 1 year of experience in asset protection or loss prevention within a retail setting is required.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Flexible working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Opportunity to work in multiple locations within the market.
