1. Provide friendly, professional, and competent customer service as needed.
2. Conduct surveillance on the sales floor and through CCTV to identify, observe, and deter potential external theft.
3. Adhere to all Sephora policies and legal requirements regarding arrest, search, seizure, and evidence preservation.
4. Prepare reports on theft incidents, merchandise recoveries, investigations, and accident audits.
5. Develop and maintain professional relationships with internal partners, local law enforcement, mall security, and other retailers.
6. Testify in court on behalf of the company in criminal or civil matters.
7. Offer training and ongoing education to new and existing employees on in-store loss prevention awareness.
8. Perform self-audits, checklists, and safety inspections in stores, and communicate findings to store management and the district loss prevention manager.
9. Assist store management in preparing and processing inventory.
10. Collaborate with stores and the DLPM in developing and executing shrink prevention plans.

1. 1 year of experience in asset protection/loss prevention in a retail environment.
2. Meet and maintain all licensing requirements as per provincial or local jurisdiction.
3. Strong written, verbal, interviewing, listening, and interpersonal communication skills.
4. Ability to remain calm and provide effective coaching on loss prevention techniques.
5. Proficiency in Windows, Word, and Excel.

At least 1 year of experience in asset protection or loss prevention within a retail setting is required.

High school diploma or equivalent.
