Sephora Loss Prevention Specialist

- Protect store assets from theft and collaborate with management to implement operational controls and reduce shrinkage.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service while conducting surveillance and utilizing CCTV to identify, observe, and deter theft.
- Adhere to all Sephora policies and legal regulations regarding arrests, seizures, and evidence preservation.
- Prepare reports on theft incidents, merchandise recovery, accident investigations, and audits.
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with internal partners, other retailers, law enforcement, and mall security.
- Testify in court on behalf of the company for criminal or civil cases as required.
- Conduct training sessions for new hires and employees on loss prevention awareness.
- Perform store audits, inspections, and communicate findings to store management and district loss prevention manager.
- Assist store management in stock preparation and processes.
- Collaborate with stores and district loss prevention manager to develop and execute loss prevention plans.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in asset protection or loss prevention within a retail environment.
- Meet and maintain licensing requirements as mandated by provincial or local authorities.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including listening, interviewing, and interpersonal communication.
- Ability to remain calm and provide effective guidance on loss prevention techniques.
- Proficiency in Windows, Word, and Excel.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Capability to work across multiple stores within the same market.

A minimum of one year in asset protection or loss prevention in a retail setting is required.
