Sephora Loss Prevention Agent

- Protect store assets against theft and maintain operational controls to reduce shortage.
- Conduct surveillance on the sales floor and utilize CCTV to identify and deter external theft.
- Adhere to laws and Sephora policies concerning apprehensions, search and seizure, and evidence preservation.
- Prepare reports on theft incidents, merchandise recoveries, accident investigations, and audits.
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with internal partners, local law enforcement, mall security, and other retailers.
- Testify in court on behalf of the company in criminal or civil cases.
- Provide training to new hires and continuous employee training to maintain loss prevention awareness.
- Conduct store self-audits, checklists, and safety inspections.
- Communicate findings to store leadership and District Loss Prevention Manager.
- Assist with inventory preparation and process.
- Develop and execute shrinkage prevention plans in partnership with stores and DLPM.
- 1 year of asset protection or loss prevention experience in a retail environment.
- Meet and maintain all licensing requirements as required by province or local jurisdiction.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Strong written, verbal, interviewing, listening, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain composure and provide effective coaching on loss prevention techniques.
- Proficiency in Windows, Word, and Excel.
- Flexibility to work at multiple locations within a market.
A minimum of 1 year in asset protection or loss prevention within a retail setting is required.
High School diploma or equivalent.
Work in a fragrance-filled environment, with the ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, and bend and stretch to stock shelves.
