1. Safeguard store assets against theft and collaborate with management to implement operational controls and minimize shortages.
2. Provide courteous, professional customer service and conduct surveillance using CCTV to identify and deter theft.
3. Comply with all Sephora policies and legal regulations regarding arrests, seizures, and evidence preservation.
4. Prepare reports on theft incidents, merchandise recovery, accident investigations, and audits.
5. Develop and maintain professional relationships with internal partners, other retailers, law enforcement, and mall security.
6. Testify in court on behalf of the company in criminal or civil cases as required.
7. Conduct in-store audits and security inspections, communicating findings to store management and district loss prevention manager.
8. Assist store management with inventory preparation and processes.
9. Collaborate with stores and district loss prevention manager to create and execute loss prevention plans.

1. Minimum of 1 year experience in asset protection or loss prevention within retail.
2. Meet and maintain licensing requirements as mandated by provincial or local authorities.
3. Strong oral and written communication skills, including listening, interviewing, and interpersonal communication abilities.
4. Ability to remain calm and provide effective guidance on loss prevention techniques.
5. Proficiency in Windows, Word, and Excel.
6. High school diploma or equivalent.
