1. Safeguard store assets against theft through surveillance and use of CCTV systems.
2. Collaborate with the Leadership team to uphold operational controls and minimize shortages.
3. Adhere to legal and company policies regarding apprehensions, search and seizure, and evidence preservation.
4. Prepare detailed reports on theft incidents, merchandise recoveries, accident investigations, and audits.
5. Foster professional relationships with internal partners, local law enforcement, mall security, and other retailers.
6. Testify in court as required for criminal or civil cases.
7. Conduct new hire and ongoing employee training to enhance loss prevention awareness.
8. Perform store self-audits, checklists, and safety inspections, communicating findings to the Leadership team and District Loss Prevention Manager.
9. Assist with inventory preparation and process.
10. Develop and implement shrinkage prevention plans in collaboration with stores and DLPM.

1. Minimum of 1 year of asset protection or loss prevention experience in a retail setting.
2. Meet and maintain all licensing requirements as mandated by local jurisdiction.

1. Strong written, verbal, interviewing, listening, and interpersonal communication skills.
2. Ability to maintain composure and provide effective coaching on loss prevention techniques.
3. Proficiency in Windows, Word, and Excel.

At least 1 year of experience in asset protection or loss prevention within a retail environment is required.

High School diploma or equivalent.
