1. Safeguard store assets against theft through surveillance and the use of CCTV systems.
2. Adhere to legal and company policies regarding apprehensions, searches, and evidence preservation.
3. Prepare detailed reports on theft incidents, merchandise recoveries, and accident investigations.
4. Cultivate and maintain professional relationships with internal partners, law enforcement, and mall security.
5. Testify in court proceedings related to theft and loss prevention cases.
6. Conduct new hire and ongoing employee training to enhance loss prevention awareness.
7. Perform store self-audits, safety inspections, and communicate findings to leadership.
8. Assist with inventory preparation and shrinkage prevention plan execution.

1. Minimum of one year of experience in asset protection or loss prevention within a retail setting.
2. Compliance with all licensing requirements as per provincial or local jurisdiction.
3. High School diploma or equivalent.

1. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
2. Proficiency in Windows, Word, and Excel.
3. Ability to maintain composure and provide effective coaching on loss prevention techniques.
4. Excellent interpersonal and interviewing skills.

A minimum of one year in asset protection or loss prevention within a retail environment is required.

High School diploma or equivalent.
