1. Safeguard store assets against theft through vigilant surveillance and adherence to company policies.
2. Conduct surveillance on the sales floor and utilize CCTV systems to identify and deter potential thefts.
3. Prepare detailed reports on theft incidents, merchandise recoveries, and accident investigations.
4. Maintain professional relationships with internal partners, local law enforcement, and mall security.
5. Testify in court for criminal or civil cases as required.
6. Provide training to new hires and ongoing education to staff on loss prevention techniques.
7. Conduct store audits, safety inspections, and communicate findings to leadership.
8. Assist with inventory preparation and collaborate on shrinkage prevention plans.

1. Minimum of 1 year experience in asset protection or loss prevention within a retail environment.
2. Meet and maintain all licensing requirements as dictated by local jurisdiction.
3. High School diploma or equivalent.

1. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
2. Ability to maintain composure and provide effective coaching on loss prevention techniques.
3. Proficiency in Windows, Word, and Excel.

At least one year of experience in asset protection or loss prevention within a retail setting is required.
