1. Safeguard store assets against theft through surveillance and operational controls.
2. Conduct sales floor and CCTV surveillance to identify and deter potential thefts.
3. Adhere to legal and company policies regarding apprehensions and evidence preservation.
4. Prepare detailed reports on theft incidents, merchandise recoveries, and audits.
5. Cultivate professional relationships with internal partners, law enforcement, and mall security.
6. Testify in court for criminal or civil cases as required.
7. Provide training to employees on loss prevention techniques and awareness.
8. Perform store audits, safety inspections, and communicate findings to leadership.
9. Assist in inventory preparation and execution of shrinkage prevention plans.

1. Minimum of 1 year experience in asset protection or loss prevention within a retail setting.
2. Meet all provincial or local licensing requirements.
3. High School diploma or equivalent.

1. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
2. Ability to maintain composure and coach effectively on loss prevention techniques.
3. Proficiency in Windows, Word, and Excel.

A minimum of one year in asset protection or loss prevention in a retail environment is required.
