Sephora Loss Prevention Agent

- Safeguard store assets against theft and collaborate with the Leadership team to maintain operational controls.
- Conduct surveillance on the sales floor and utilize CCTV systems to identify and deter theft.
- Adhere to legal and company policies regarding apprehensions, search and seizure, and evidence preservation.
- Prepare detailed reports on theft incidents, merchandise recoveries, accident investigations, and audits.
- Develop and sustain professional relationships with internal partners, law enforcement, mall security, and other retailers.
- Testify in court on behalf of the company in criminal or civil cases.
- Provide training to new hires and continuous education to employees on loss prevention awareness.
- Conduct store self-audits, checklists, and safety inspections, communicating findings to the Leadership team and District Loss Prevention Manager.
- Assist with inventory preparation and process, and partner in the development and execution of shrinkage prevention plans.
- 1 year of asset protection or loss prevention experience in a retail environment.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Satisfy and maintain all licensing requirements as per provincial or local jurisdiction.
- Strong written, verbal, interviewing, listening, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain composure and provide effective coaching on loss prevention techniques.
- Proficiency in Windows, Word, and Excel.
A minimum of 1 year in asset protection or loss prevention within a retail setting is required.
High School diploma or equivalent.
