Sephora Loss Prevention Agent

- Protect store assets against theft and maintain operational controls to reduce shortages.
- Conduct surveillance on the sales floor and utilize CCTV systems to identify and deter theft.
- Adhere to legal and company policies regarding apprehensions, search and seizure, and evidence preservation.
- Prepare reports on theft incidents, merchandise recoveries, accident investigations, and audits.
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with internal partners, law enforcement, mall security, and other retailers.
- Testify in court on behalf of the company in criminal or civil cases.
- Provide training to new hires and continuous education to employees on loss prevention awareness.
- Conduct store self-audits, checklists, and safety inspections and communicate findings to the Leadership team.
- Assist with inventory preparation and process.
- Collaborate with stores and District Loss Prevention Manager to develop and execute shrinkage prevention plans.
- 1 year of asset protection or loss prevention experience in a retail environment.
- Meet all licensing requirements as required by local jurisdiction.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Strong written, verbal, interviewing, listening, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain composure and provide effective coaching on loss prevention techniques.
- Proficiency in Windows, Word, and Excel.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to work at multiple locations within a market.
A minimum of one year in asset protection or loss prevention within a retail setting.
High School diploma or equivalent.
