1. Safeguard store assets against theft and collaborate with the Leadership team to uphold operational controls.
2. Conduct surveillance on the sales floor and utilize CCTV systems to identify and deter potential thefts.
3. Adhere to legal and company policies regarding apprehensions, search and seizure, and evidence preservation.
4. Prepare detailed reports on theft incidents, merchandise recoveries, and accident investigations.
5. Foster professional relationships with internal partners, law enforcement, and mall security.
6. Testify in court as required for criminal or civil cases.
7. Provide training to new hires and ongoing education to employees on loss prevention strategies.
8. Conduct store audits, checklists, and safety inspections, and communicate findings to the Leadership team.
9. Assist with inventory preparation and collaborate on shrinkage prevention plans.

1. Minimum of one year of experience in asset protection or loss prevention within a retail environment.
2. Meet all licensing requirements as per provincial or local jurisdiction.
3. High School diploma or equivalent.

1. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
2. Proficiency in Windows, Word, and Excel.
3. Ability to maintain composure and provide effective coaching on loss prevention techniques.

At least one year of experience in a retail loss prevention or asset protection role is required.
