1. Identify and report theft or company policy violations committed by employees to direct supervisors.
2. Observe, apprehend, or deter individuals committing external theft.
3. Review exception reports and inventory reporting to detect dishonest activity.
4. Assist with internal investigations and interviews.
5. Ensure compliance with laws and Sephora policies concerning investigations, apprehensions, search and seizure, and evidence preservation.
6. Conduct physical surveillance on the production floor and through the building’s CCTV system.
7. Testify in court concerning any case where the company is a party in interest.
8. Participate in inventory processes and shrink reduction plans.
9. Train warehouse associates individually and in group settings.
10. Promote Loss Prevention awareness and available resources.
11. Perform checklists and audits, communicating findings with leadership.
12. Develop and maintain professional relationships with warehouse personnel, Loss Prevention personnel, guard staff, local law enforcement, and other retailers.
13. Serve as a trainer and mentor for new and existing Agents and Security Guard staff.
14. Review and approve Security Guard staff schedules.

1. High School graduate or equivalent.

1. Strong written, verbal, interviewing, listening, and interpersonal communication skills.
2. Intermediate computer skills.
3. Ability to make quick decisions in potentially stressful situations.
4. Aptitude to de-escalate volatile and possibly dangerous situations.
5. Capacity to work well without direct supervision.
6. Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive and privileged information.

Minimum of 2 years of Loss Prevention experience in a retail environment, preferably with some experience within Supply Chain.

High School graduate or equivalent.

Starting base pay is $21.00 - $22.45/hr. Certain work schedules may also be eligible for shift differential pay.
