1. Conduct non-functional requirement gathering and assess software application architecture.
2. Formulate and implement a software performance testing strategy.
3. Utilize tools such as Adobe Analytics, Splunk, Dynatrace, and Grafana Loki for user behavior analysis.
4. Generate test use cases for scripting and create workload models.
5. Establish test schedules, identify dependencies, assess risks, and develop mitigation plans.
6. Specify performance tools, test data, access requirements, and database volume needs.
7. Craft performance test scripts using JMeter and Load Runner.
8. Set up monitoring to collect operating system statistics and application metrics.
9. Execute various performance tests including baseline, load, stress, volume, and failover tests.
10. Monitor application components, servers, and databases during test execution.
11. Analyze key performance metrics through monitoring tools such as Dynatrace and AppDynamics.
12. Conduct production synthetic load testing using Blazemeter.
13. Collaborate with application partners to schedule continuous performance testing as part of the CI/CD pipeline.

1. Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems.
2. Six years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience in software testing.

1. Proficiency in JMeter and Blazemeter.
2. Experience with Dynatrace and Microsoft Azure Kubernetes.
3. Knowledge of Docker Cloud and Container Platforms.
4. Proficiency in Python and Redis cache performance tuning.
5. Experience with Cosmos DB and Java JVM performance tuning.
6. Familiarity with GCeasy and Jenkins CI/CD Performance automation.

Six years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience in software testing, including roles such as Test Engineer.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems.

$166,900 to $193,300 per year depending on experience.
