- Lead the design and implementation of Java microservices for high-availability eCommerce platform components using Object-Oriented design principles.
- Innovate and drive the technical vision, influencing the platform roadmap and mentoring the engineering team.
- Collaborate with enterprise engineering leads to drive key design decisions and ensure alignment with enterprise programs.
- Evaluate new technologies and industry trends for their applicability to the platform.
- Ensure platform components are designed for reliability and scalability, participating in load and performance testing.
- Define and implement logging, monitoring, and alerting frameworks for critical metrics.
- Provide guidance and mentoring to engineers in best practices for microservices implementation and troubleshooting.
- Influence decisions, build consensus, and resolve conflicts constructively.
- 8+ years of hands-on experience with client-side technologies such as JavaScript, ReactJs, NodeJs, and REST APIs.
- 5+ years of strong experience with Java/J2EE, Spring, and Spring Boot frameworks.
- Experience in designing, deploying, and managing RESTful APIs using JSON.
- Understanding of Kubernetes architecture and Caching Design Principles is preferred.
- Experience with cloud-based applications and microservices architecture, preferably on MS Azure.
- Expertise in JavaScript libraries and frameworks such as React, Redux, and Angular.
- Proficiency in full-stack development, including frontend (React & Node) and backend (Java) platforms.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with queueing and streaming solutions, especially Kafka.
- Hands-on experience with monitoring and alerts dashboards using Splunk, Nagios, and App Dynamics.
A minimum of 8 years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on client-side technologies and enterprise solutions.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
The annual base salary range for this position is $173,610.00 - $192,900.00, with eligibility for bonuses.
