- Explore the capabilities of GenAI models for warehouse and distribution automation.
- Identify and prioritize manual tasks suitable for automation within the warehouse and distribution center.
- Develop and prototype GenAI-powered solutions for automating picking, packing, shipping, and inventory management.
- Focus on solutions that enhance productivity and efficiency of distribution center workers.
- Automate the generation of reports related to warehouse operations, including key performance indicators.
- Analyze warehouse and distribution data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Conduct rigorous testing and validation of implemented solutions to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and optimize automation solutions.
- Document all development processes, solutions, and findings.
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Create pseudo algorithms and code using technologies such as RPA.
- Utilize databases such as Oracle, Postgres, and MySQL.
- Assist with projects using a hands-on approach.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Knowledge of Oracle SQL & PL/SQL programming and database concepts.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as JAVA, PYTHON, C++, or C.
- Strong understanding of GenAI concepts and models, particularly large language models like Gemini.
- Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passion for innovation and a desire to learn new technologies.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, and Word.
- Excellent written, verbal, and listening skills.
- Ability to document requirements with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to speak in front of teams that include both business and IT partners.
- Self-driven with the ability to interact with teams.
No prior professional experience required; however, familiarity with programming languages and data analysis tools is necessary.
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
The target hourly pay for this position is $25.00 per hour. The actual pay offered depends on various factors, including the applicant's qualifications, experience, and geographic location.
Interns will benefit from hands-on learning, personal and professional networking opportunities, and projects that directly impact the business. The program includes an on-site week in San Francisco and a week off for summer shutdown.
