Sephora IT Retail Engineer

- Ensure seamless operation of retail software and systems across UK locations.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts with a solutions-focused approach.
- Deploy and support retail solutions for store openings and system upgrades.
- Mentor the IT Service Desk team on retail systems and procedures.
- Act as a key escalation point for system issues at stores and Head Office.
- Create and maintain knowledge base articles for issue resolution.
- Deliver training to Business Analysts on store system functionality.
- Coordinate with manufacturers and vendors for equipment procurement and issue resolution.
- Communicate professionally with customers, partners, and internal teams.
- Lead hyper care support following store openings to ensure smooth operations.
- Support Head Office systems while prioritizing retail systems.
- Travel to store locations for deployments, installations, and upgrades.
- Test new functionalities and features in the store lab to ensure quality.
- Maintain and update store systems, ensuring full operational status.
- Apply technical expertise in network patching, PXE image deployment, and POS installations.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience working with retail systems for at least two years.
- Technical certifications or training related to retail systems.
- Technical confidence and solutions-focused mindset.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to travel within the UK for store deployments and upgrades.
- Passion for problem-solving and continuous improvement.
Minimum of 3 years in a similar role with experience in retail systems.
