Inbound Transportation Analyst

1. Support domestic inbound operations, managing and optimizing transportation processes.
2. Analyze exceptions and evaluate carrier performance.
3. Ensure compliance with HAZMAT regulations.
4. Provide tactical support for managing carrier and supplier performance.
5. Build and maintain relationships with service providers and partners.
6. Prepare and maintain reports on key performance indicators.
7. Ensure compliance with safety and government DOT/FAA regulations.
8. Develop strategies to minimize exceptions.
9. Process carrier freight claims and maintain a database for tracking claims.
10. Collaborate with carriers to manage on-time performance and inbound security.

1. BA/BS degree strongly preferred.
2. 3-5 years of experience in Logistics and Forwarding management preferred.
3. Experience with distribution centers and foreign suppliers preferred.

1. Proficiency in transportation systems or ability to quickly develop proficiency.
2. Knowledge of MS Office applications: Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
4. Problem-solving and tactical skills.
5. Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
6. Excellent customer service and analytical skills.

Preferred 3-5 years of experience in Logistics and Forwarding management, with experience in distribution centers and foreign suppliers.

The annual base salary range for this position is $61,795.00 - $75,715.00. Individuals may also be eligible to earn bonuses.
