Sephora Human Resources Specialist

- Serve as a point of contact for workers' compensation claims, ensuring compliance with company standards.
- Administer Leave of Absence requests and accommodation requests, facilitating smooth transitions for employees returning to work.
- Assist employees with benefits inquiries, open enrollment, and provide support for escalated issues.
- Manage unemployment claims, ensuring accurate documentation and resolution tracking.
- Extract and analyze data to create scheduled and on-demand reports for HR operations.
- Conduct audits of HR files and records to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Process employee status changes, including internal movement and terminations.
- Collaborate with MRO for post-accident and pre-employment screenings.
- Ensure compliance with I-9 reverification processes.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HR trends, regulatory changes, and best practices.
- Provide support for employee inquiries regarding policies, benefits, and payroll.
- Assist with internal communications and employee recognition programs.
- Conduct New Hire Orientation sessions as needed.
- Support payroll processing and timekeeping inquiries.
- 2+ years of related Human Resources experience, preferably in a distribution center or manufacturing facility.
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems such as Dayforce and SharePoint.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
- Flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
A minimum of two years in a Human Resources role, ideally within a distribution center or manufacturing setting.
