- Collaborate with Retail HR Business Partners to expand the talent pool through various sourcing channels and strategies.
- Proactively source both passive and active candidates using Boolean searches and job board filters.
- Review and screen incoming candidates from job portals, referrals, and vendor recommendations.
- Create shortlists with clear rationale and provide recommended next steps for Hiring Managers.
- Maintain accurate candidate status and notes in the Applicant Tracking System.
- Act as the primary point of contact for sourcing vendors, managing briefs, role requirements, and candidate submissions.
- Monitor vendor performance and escalate issues to Retail HR Business Partners as needed.
- Coordinate interviews, including scheduling, logistics, and communication with candidates and hiring panels.
- Maintain sourcing dashboards and provide weekly status updates on candidate pipelines and vendor performance.
- Suggest improvements to sourcing workflows and candidate assessment criteria to enhance hiring quality and speed.
- Assist with campus or community outreach events, recruitment drives, and other retail hiring initiatives.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or a related discipline preferred.
- 2 to 3 years of experience in recruitment, resourcing, or sourcing, ideally in the retail or hospitality industry.
- Proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems and major job boards such as LinkedIn Recruiter, JobStreet, and Indeed.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and stakeholder management abilities.
- Attention to detail and high accuracy in candidate screening and record-keeping.
- Ability to prioritize tasks under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Capability to produce and interpret simple hiring metrics and reports.
- Proactive problem-solving skills and a team-oriented mindset.
A minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in recruitment, resourcing, or sourcing, preferably within the retail or hospitality industry.
Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or a related discipline preferred.
