Sephora HR Generalist

- Serve as the primary contact for general HR inquiries, manage unemployment claims, and support leave of absence and accommodation processes including FMLA, ADA, and personal or religious accommodations.
- Handle escalated background check issues and ensure HR practices comply with legal requirements and align with organizational goals.
- Generate, maintain, and analyze reports and dashboards related to leaves, employee classification, and other key HR metrics.
- Collaborate on cyclical HR programs, assist with training delivery, ensure accurate employee classification, and uphold compliance with employment laws and company policies.
- Participate in, lead, and support internal projects and initiatives as needed.
- 3+ years of experience in HR or related fields, including retail leadership.
- 2+ years of experience with FMLA, ADA, and leave administration.
- Familiarity with HR policies, procedures, best practices, employment law, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal), organizational, and time management skills.
- High level of customer service and attention to detail.
- Strong ethics, problem-solving skills, and cultural awareness.
- Interpersonal relationship building and ability to handle sensitive information with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in human resources or related fields, with specific expertise in leave administration and regulatory compliance.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred, but not required.
The annual base salary range for this position is $78,900.00 - $103,000.00, with eligibility for bonuses.
