- Maintain HR records, employee files, and HRIS data with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Prepare HR reports and metrics on absence, turnover, ER cases, and other KPIs.
- Support updates to policies, procedures, and contracts to ensure compliance with UK employment legislation.
- Contribute to HR projects such as engagement surveys, retention initiatives, and HR system improvements.
- Provide on-time and accurate payroll support, aligning with payroll procedures and updates.
- Conduct regular audits of employee files and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Provide first-line advice to retail managers on employee relations, including disciplinary, grievance, and performance issues.
- Champion company wellbeing initiatives and support D&I strategies and training.
- Drive internal communications across retail teams.
- Minimum 3 years of HR experience in a retail environment.
- Good knowledge of UK employment law and employee relations best practices.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Highly organized with attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-moving retail environment.
- Advanced knowledge of Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and HR Software.
- Proven hands-on attitude with flexibility and adaptability.
- High levels of resilience and ability to work in an agile way.
Minimum 3 years of HR experience in a retail environment.
